Submit

We welcome submissions of 3-6 unpublished poems in February and September, for possible publication the following month. We cannot consider work outside these times. Please post to:

Include a stamped addressed envelope, a covering letter listing the poems (titles in upper and lower case, not all caps) email if available, and your name on each sheet. Postal submissions save us long hours at the screen and can be scrutinised more effectively. From overseas, email submissions should list the poem titles in a brief covering letter (the email) with poems single-spaced (no photos or illustrations please) attached in a single Word document – no pdfs please.

Brief feedback is available for subscribers and is usually time well invested, but if this is not required just let us know. An increase in submissions means we can only offer feedback to subscribers, and reading a few issues should help you decide what to send.

Do not send re-writes unless specifically requested, and men – from whom we receive far more – kindly wait at least one issue after an acceptance.

We generally read and reply up to two months before the next issue.
